Hypermedia Integration Activities
Video Enhanced Lesson Plan: The Role of Martin Luther King, Jr. in American History
The purpose of this lesson is to introduce international college level students who study English in the US to American history and culture. Specifically, the lesson aims to introduce the students to the following events - the beginning of slavery, Civil War, Montgomery Bus boycott, March of Freedom, and Civil Rights movement. It also aims to introduce the students to suck key figures in American history as MLK, Rosa Parks, Malcolm X, and JFK. The students will analyze the events that helped shape American history and provide the connection to the current course of events from the historical perspective.
